La Habra City Hall is the location of the La Habra, Calif., city government offices. A full-service city employing approximately 300 people, La Habra provides a full range of services, including police protection, water and sanitation services, street maintenance and animal control. Located at Orange County's northernmost corner, La Habra is 7.3 square miles, with a population more than 60,000 and 22,000-plus households. A quiet bedroom community, it is located within an hour's drive of many beaches, mountain and desert recreation areas. The city of La Habra was incorporated in 1925 as a general-law city operating under a council-manager form of government, with the city council acting as the legislative body of the city. Threre are members elected to the council at large on a non-partisan basis. The council appoints a city manager to be the chief administrative officer responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city.
