La Cañada Flintridge Public Library has a collection of more than 122,000 books; nearly 200 magazine and newspaper subscriptions; more than 8,000 audio recordings; and almost 6,000 videocassettes. The library also has collections of telephone directories, local history materials, pamphlets and microforms. The Friends of the Library sponsors a rental collection including books, videocassettes and DVDs.

Live Oak Public Library

The Los Angeles County Live Oak Public Library may not be as widely used as the City of Arcadia Library, but it still offers a large collection of more than 55,000 books, including paperbacks and 44 magazine and newspaper titles. In addition, readers can find 4,592 audio tapes and compact discs, and 5,530 DVDs and video cassettes. There are 16 shelves of Spanish language material and 35 shelves of Chinese language material available to members.
