History
Our son was attending a kindergarten class at Winter Gardens Elementary and I did a pottery wheel throwing demonstration at the school. We had the kids make some work at the demo and then I fired it and gave it back to the students. The office thought it was really cool and asked us if we wanted to start an after school program. Then, later in the summer of 2014 my wife and I came up with the name Kids Like Clay. We started with one school and slowly added more. Now we have 8 schools. We are really excited to see all these kids making ceramic art. They are all very creative - especially 5-8 year olds.
