KHSU-FM 90.5 is a community-supported, noncommercial public radio station that is licensed to and supported by Humboldt State University in California. It broadcasts a variety of programs for a population of approximately 135,000 people throughout northwestern California and southwestern Oregon. The station strives to educate, enrich, enlighten and entertain people, as well as present thoughtful and intelligent perspectives on local, national and international issues. KHSU-FM 90.5 airs Morning Edition, Democracy Now!, Classical Corner, Go For Baroque, Illuminations, A Musical Offering, and Fresh Air. Its weekend programs include Blues Before Sunrise, Conscious Contact Gospel Hours, Saint Paul Sunday, Car Talk, Wait, Wait . . . Don't Tell Me!, and This American Life. The station broadcasts music, news, entertainment and public affair programs. Established in 1960, KHSU-FM 90.5 offers live listening programs and audio archives.
