History
Biology was my passion and I thought that eventually I would work my way into dental school where I could learn all aspects of dental hygiene. One day, out of the blue, I begin to develop a painful low back condition known as lumbar spine radiculitis. Overtime, the pain in my back gets so intense that it radiates down to my right leg and I can not sit for more than twenty minutes. The shooting pain sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night. A friend of mine convinces me to give his doctor a try. This new doctor does an exam, takes films, then 'adjusts' my spine (he tells me that there's nerve pressure in my low back spine). The adjustment doesn't hurt, it actually feels good. I get relief, and shortly, I can sit for several hours. Oh, did I mention that this doctor is a chiropractor? Chiropractic works so well for me, and I'm so impressed with the other 'miracles' I see in his office, that I eventually go to chiropractic school myself. And that's how it happened!
