Here's the culprit. $10 thermal switch reading intermittent (but primarily) open, when it should be NC and open at a certain temp.

Samsung OTR microwave needed to be pulled down to remove access covers for the two (of four) hidden thermostat switches.

What he supposedly charged us for which was just resetting the dryer.
