It may be hard to understand why Kara Lind abandoned her advertising career in the corporate world in exchange for baking pastries in the kitchen. But that's precisely what she did when she enrolled in school to follow her dream. Since then, it seems to just keep paying off. Today her cupcakes may be found in five locations throughout the Bay Area, receiving accolades, such as winners on the Food Network's Cupcake Wars.
