Butte County Juvenile Hall is a detention facility that accommodates more than 110 inmates. The facility has been in operation since 2003 and conducts a variety of recreational and religious activities. It offers a range of rehabilitative, educational and mental health care services for detained youths. The facility maintains a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Butte County Juvenile Hall is a part of the Butte County Probation Department, which is operated by the government of the County of Butte in California. The Butte County Probation Department specializes in mandated court, victim support and public protection services.
