Jensen Precast was founded in 1968 in Reno, Nev. Today, the company has hundreds of employees operating from 12 facilities serving the Western United States. It originally manufactured wastewater products such as septic tanks, and in the early 1970s, it began a careful diversification and expansion program. As a result, Jensen Precast has thousands of diversified products along with a concrete construction division that provides a competitive blend of precast with cast in place concrete. In the early 1980s, it expanded to include new operations in Las Vegas and Sacramento, Calif. These operations have become major manufacturing and distribution facilities. In 1987, the company ventured to the Southern California area and, in 1997, it purchased the assets of Brooks Products in Fontana and combined all Southern California operations to that location.
