Former teacher Jennie Low first opened the doors of her restaurant in 1992 in Mill Valley and business has been booming ever since, leading her to open this Vintage Oaks shopping center location in Novato. The popularity of Low's culinary skills encouraged the publication of her cookbook, Chopsticks, Cleaver and Wok. Low strikes an eclectic balance by mixing fresh produce with Cantonese, Mandarin, Szechuan and Hunan-influenced meal creations. For the calorie-conscious, the menu now includes lower-fat and lower-calorie options. The restaurant also recently started offering party platters for catering needs.
