History
PTR Sports is a sports medicine, family medicine, and physical therapy corporation. We believe there is an elite athlete in all of us - that we all have a deep-seated desire to be healthier and better. Our goal is not to simply treat disease, but to aggressively prevent it. Through the appropriate use of the disciplines of sports medicine - thinking right, exercise, nutrition, and medicine, we believe we can make you healthier than you have ever been. Dr. Blue has been in private practice since 1998. He previously had offices in San Jose and San Francisco before moving in 2007 to our current location in Santa Clara. He has served as the medical director of the Center for Sports Medicine at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, team physician for the San Francisco Giants and the University of San Francisco, and physician for Cirque du Soleil in San Jose. His current practice is 50% family medicine and 50% sports medicine.
