Jay Bharat Restaurant first opened on June 11, 1988 in the little India shopping district of Artesia California in Southern California. Starting as a small family run operation today it has grown into one of the largest caterers of Indian food on the West Coast. Jay Bharat specializes in Gujarati, South Indian and North Indian Vegetarian foods. The 20,000 square feet manufacturing facility in Pico Rivera California provides catering plus production of sweet(Mithai) and snacks (Namkeen) which customers have become very fond of over the years. The two restaurants serving the Souther California market are - Jay Bharat Artesia, CA and Standard Sweets and Snacks Artesia, CA. The newest store - Jay Bharat Newark, CA has opened to serve the Northern California/ San Francisco/Bay Area market.
