Jamel Ramiro is a certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a gold standard in the fitness industry. He also holds certifications as a Z-Health Performance Movement Integration & Rehab Specialist, TRX Senior Master Trainer/Course Instructor and Operation Fit to Fight Level 2 Senior Boot Camp Instructor. With over 12 years of experience as a martial artist, Jamel has trained amateur and professional fighters, law enforcement officials and general fitness enthusiasts as a Muay Thai and Boxing Coach. Here's the short - I'm a Senior Master Trainer for TRX with a background in functional training, muay thai/boxing and surfing. When you train with me (virtual options also available), my priority is to teach you strong and pain-free movement so you can perform at the speed of LIFE. Got your attention? Read on. Jamel Ramiro Performance Movement is a training program catering to ALL LEVELS of fitness. No matter what your goal, my priority is to help you harness your potential. Based on your goals, I will individualize your program to include cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and endurance, and/or specialized athletic movement (if training for a specific sport). My training philosophy is dedicated to strong movement and performance gains through FUNCTIONAL training. The tools used in each session include (but are not limited to) bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands and a strong focus using the TRX Suspension Trainer. In addition to my expertise in functional training, I also have a background coaching Muay Thai, boxing and surfing that can be complemented into the training sessions. I also offer surf lessons.
