The Iron Horse Mothers Club (IHMC) was first formed in 1996 as a support network for mothers in the communities within San Ramon, Danville, Dublin and Alamo.
Though the club focuses on mothers with children ages 5 or younger, all mothers are welcome.
It offers several benefits including age-appropriate playgroups, organized outings and socials, a members-only babysitting co-op, community fundraising activities, a new mommy meal program, and a members-only library. Opportunities for adult socializing are also available with "Mom's Night Out" events and interest-based sub-clubs.
The club also hosts a monthly speaker series and currently serves over 400 mothers in the Tri-Valley Area.
