History
Originally opened in 1990 in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District (18th and Mission). In 1999, my business was closed indefinitely, due to the roof of the hotel above it catching fire. The renovations to the property took longer than expected, so I reopened my business at my current location (16th and S. Van Ness) in February 2003. There is and has only been one Irma's Pampanga Restaurant and I'm proud to say we've been back and here to stay!
Specialties
My business specializes in Filipino food, namely that from the region of Pampanga. Some classic favorites are BBQ, Pancit, Lumpia, breakfast Silogs, Adobo, Sisig (grilled marinated pork). Feeling nostalgic and want a taste of some good home-cooked style Filipino food? Or are you feeling adventurous and want to give Filipino food a try? Come on in and discover a world of Filipino food you never knew or reacquaint yourself to the food of your childhood!
