Royal Dive

There are bars and there are dive bars, but this is the Royal Dive, a small intimate bar lounge that is home to live music, great draft beers from local San Diego micro-breweries and specialty cocktails. It serves packaged bar snacks and easy menu items such as tacos, nachos and fries. It’s a showcase for the local San Diego music scene, and features bands such bands as Eastern Seaboard, Almond Butters and Red Octopus. Tuesday might is the "Obama Economy Special"—pints and premium booze are dirt cheap. Royal Dive also offers free Wi-Fi and serves brewed and European style coffees. It’s located near the municipal airport in the Oceanside Industrial Park.
