Opened in 1960, The Ice House Comedy Club has brought some of the finest live entertainment to the San Gabriel Valley in California for more than 40 years. During this time, more than 3 million people have discovered the stars of yesterday, today and tomorrow in the club s intimate showroom. The 1970s found the emphasis switching to comedy when a variety of stars, such as Lily Tomlin, The Smothers Brothers and Gallagher, recorded albums at the club. More than 75 live albums have been recorded at The Ice House. In the 1980s, it branched out with the addition of COMICS, its Hall of Fame restaurant. Among the comedians to perform at the club throughout the year have includes Billy Crystal, Cheech and Chong, George Carling, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Rosie O Donnell, Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey, Bob Newhart and Steve Martin. The Ice House Comedy Club is located in Pasadena, Calif.
