Marty ( Martha ) Fiorovich has been licensed to practice architecture in California since 1982 ; she is a member of the American Institute of Architects and additionally has national certification as an NCARB member. Jon Fiorovich has been a licensed general contractor since 1978. Marty and Jon earned degrees from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Architecture and Construction Engineering respectively. Fiorovich Group was established in 1984 after both gained experience working in the industry in Southern California. Fiorovich Group was a "design-build" firm before it was widely accepted as the efficient and credible system that it has become today. Architect and Contractor operate independently or as a team and are principals of the firm, which is still rare with many "design-build" firms.
