Holy Assumption Monastery is a women's monastery. It is affiliated with the orthodox church of America. The ladies spend most of the day in private prayer, but they also perform income-producing activities, such as writing children's books, sewing and mounting icons. The ladies live to serve God a teach the Bible. Guest are welcome to visit, and women guesst are allowed to stay overnight. There is a bookstore on the premises.
