History
A ministry of the Salvation Army Tustin Ranch Church, the Doy and Dee Henley Youth Center was designed to serve children ranging from preschool to middle school ages. The 24,900 sq. ft. site includes a five classroom preschool with a capacity of 200 students, a sectional multipurpose room, and a 7,500 sq. ft. gymnasium. The campus provides year-round learning, art, recreation and other enrichment programs for community children, including at-risk youth.
Specialties
We provide after school care from surrounding elementary schools during the school season. Summer we provide a camp from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. balanced with some in-house activities and two field trips a week. Our staff is CPR/First Aid trained and teacher qualified. We provide transportation from school to our site for kindergarten and older. We have a full gym, homework room, art patio, and sports field.
