History
The Harbor City Community Job Center first began in the Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City where day laborers began congregating in the late 1980s. The nearby communities of Harbor City, Wilmington, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Lomita have consistently hired our workers and in turn our workers have consistently supported our communities. Today, Harbor City Community Job Center continues the legacy of transformative popular education for our workers and in support of our communities.
