History
After the loss of four, immediate family members to cancer, Sheri Schrier founded the non-profit organization, Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals. Watching her loved ones experience the emotional trauma and physical pain associated with hair loss and chemotherapy broke her heart. Instead of allowing these experiences to be somber, Sheri was determined to create a distraction from the painful reality. Sheri and her organization have continued to put precious smiles back on the faces of hospitalized children with cancer, life-threatening illnesses, and more recently, COVID-19. She created the unique Hero Club and Happy Hat Holiday Programs. These two successful programs have brought excitement and fun to over a million kids and those who love and care for them throughout the United States and beyond.
