We are very proud of being Whittier's Oldest Business. Our founder, Julia York Hockett, was born in Whittier in 1917, attended Whittier Schools and graduated from Whittier College. She was teaching at East Whittier Middle School when she decided to follow her dream and open the first Pre School in Whittier. She started
