Dixon Teen Center is a safe, fun place for teenagers to congregate and take advantage of the center's many features.The center will host a variety of events and activities for teenagers including movies, music shows, pool and foosball tables, dances and a variety of other events.It will be located at Dixon's Old High School The center will also feature a 'quiet room' where teenagers can do their homework and work on school projects. A group of dedicated volunteers, both teens and adults alike, have helped realize the Teen Center, and fundraising dollars as well as donations have helped fund it. The center has also gained support from the Dixon Police Department, Dixon Unified School District, the City of Dixon and a myriad of community groups and businesses. Dixon Teen Center is set to open on Jan. 22, with a grand opening celebration.
