The Health Occupations Center is part of the Grossmont Union High School District's Adult Education School network. It specializes in healthcare-related classes for adults age 18 and over.
The Grossmont Adult Education School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Health Occupations Center provides classes for the following therapeutic services: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Technician - Refresher, Intravenous Therapy, Pharmacy Technician, Refresher/Reentry Update Education for Nurses, Vocational Nursing.
It also offers classes for the following medical support services: Coding-CPT/ICD9 (Introductory), English and Math Review, Healthcare Interpreting, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant/Clinical, Medical/Dental/Optical Billing Clerk, Medical Receptionist and Insurance Forms, Medical Terminology, Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide
