History
Greenfield Care Center of Fullerton, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, was founded by a husband and wife who were rehabilitation therapists. Working as therapists, they saw the need for a culturally sensitive post-acute environment for the growing Korean community. Our philosophy of care, that caring for the respected elders in our community is both a calling and a privilege, was enhanced with the belief that skilled nursing and rehabilitation in a culturally familiar environment was beneficial to the resident's recovery and mental well-being. The involvement of Korean pastors and religious volunteers have continued to grow both our residents and staff spiritually and is testament to the referrals we receive from religious organizations when asked where to place a Korean elder who needs skilled nursing care. Over the years, we have become a trusted partner in the Korean community and have grown our referral base to include Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
