History
Gaming Together was created to fill a gap in after-school activities and services for children. While academic enrichment and social skills or leadership-development groups and activities are available, the formats are often not desirable for the kids themselves. Dungeons & Dragons offers skill development across the board: STEM integration, social, communication, math, strategy, language, storytelling, acting, and more.
Specialties
Gaming Together will unleash your child's imagination in the real world of peer interaction, offering ongoing after-school groups, summer camps, and school break camps for ages 8-15 (ratio 4:1). Dungeons & Dragons is our main activity: students each create and play a fantasy, Lord-of-the-Rings style hero, and then work together as a group to face magic, monsters, puzzles, and quests, as they co-create the story with their instructor. Gaming Together is more than just fun time--cooperative gaming develops math and social skills, confidence, flexibility creativity, & leadership. Most importantly, this is a skills-development group that your child will want to go to--and won't be embarrassed by.
