History
GRO is a one-of-a-kind non-profit: we are a community-based, artist-run organization. We are a group of artists who believe that art is an intellectual, educational and spiritual necessity serving the cultural, political, and environmental concerns of our rural community and the greater Bay Area. We are proud to nurture and promote emerging and established artists who exhibit unique and pioneering works of art. We are amazed with the quality of programs that we have created over these years and look forward to an inspired future. Our 25th year has been a time to celebrate: The Pacific Sun gave our 25th anniversary show in June-July a glowing review, we have a full roster of 25 artist members, and several new enthusiastic board members. GRO is proud and appreciative of it's partnerships with so many community businesses and organizations, All work with GRO to make art accessible and integral to our community.
