History
Frostig School West is a new campus in West Los Angeles that is dedicated to helping students with learning challenges live and learn to their full potential. Frostig School West opened its doors in August 2019 on the beautiful grounds of Bel Air Church on Mulholland Drive. The new campus is an extension of Frostig School in Pasadena, which has been serving children with learning differences for 70 years. The two schools have worked closely together to establish a strong curriculum and compassionate culture at Frostig School West. Frostig School West serves students in middle school and high school who have complex learning differences. These challenges may include specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, as well as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Like Frostig School, the bedrock of Frostig School West is strong academics grounded in research-based practices, small classes, a strong social learning component and arts education.
