History
From the Hearth originally began as a small artisan sourdough bakery in Redding, California. As love for our sourdough and other specialty breads grew, our owners set to work on opening the first of our cafes in April of 2010. Their dream was to bring fresh, quality, made from scratch dining options to the Redding community. Since then we have worked hard to maintain high quality food and drink options, including handmade varietal pies, delicious burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads and rice bowls, and a unique breakfast menu with espresso and smoothie drinks, and offer a relaxing friendly atmosphere for our customers. Our growth has been outstanding since then, with three locations in Redding (along with two drive thrus), as well as a full restaurant in Red Bluff, CA. We are always working to find new ways to revitalize and grow the culinary culture in Northern California and beyond.

We started out as an award-winning sourdough bakery, and have evolved into an upscale fast-casual restaurant. We have four restaurants (Kitchen & Pie Shops) and two drive-thru kiosks (Pie Shops) all of which serve handmade varietal pies, delicious burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads and rice bowls, and a unique breakfast menu with espresso and smoothie drinks. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and incredible dishes. We love what we do, but don't take our word for it. The North State has voted us Best Bakery, Best Restaurant, and Best Lunch among other high honors.
