History
Founder Laureen Asseo first began preparing vegan meals for friends and family out of her own home in 2010. However, as demand rapidly grew, the company expanded into a national meal distributor working toward promoting nutrition education and providing access to wholesome ingredients. Her brother Thomas joined in 2011 and is the current CEO. Now, with a commercial kitchen and production warehouse, the Asseo's are leading a talented culinary team as well as shipment operations toward a healthy eating revolution. Fresh n' Lean currently offers six meal plans, specializing in dishes without preservatives, additives, gluten, GMOs, hormones, or added sugar. Distributed nationally and fresh, never frozen; Fresh n' Lean offers expertly prepared and individually packaged dishes to be heated and enjoyed at your convenience. Fresh n' Lean expanded into a 55,000 sq/ft building in Anaheim, California in 2018 and added a second office facility in 2021.
