History

The Fremont Festival of the Arts started in 1983 in the Fremont Hub parking lot. It has since moved to Fremont's downtown area.

Specialties

We are the west coast's largest FREE street festival. Always the first weekend in August, the Fremont Festival attracts up to 350,000 attendees over the two day event. Featuring over 400 craft artists, Kid City with carnival rides, fabulous gourmet food, free music on multiple stages, margaritas, craft beer and California and international wines.
