History
Montebello Unified (MUSD) has one of the three largest adult school programs in California. Montebello Community Adult School (MCAS), which operates as part of MUSD, was established in 1936. Service to the community started with a few evening classes in the Montebello area. Classes offered at that time were mainly for the purpose of Americanization. Montebello has an established history and commitment to serving the needs of adult learners. Ford Park Community Adult School equips students by providing career technical education pathways, English language learning, and HiSET (equivalent to GED) courses, so that they may thrive in their community and personal/ professional lives. Most of our classes are low cost or no cost. Ask about free Child Care! Classes offered at Ford Park Adult: High School Subjects/Diploma, Security Officer Training (Guard Card and Permits, Personal Care Aide, Computer Applications (Basic skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, QuickBooks), Keyboarding, Pharmacy Technician, Citizenship Preparation, ESL (all levels)
