History
The tradition of Fieldstone philanthropy began in 1983 as Peter Ochs, Keith Johnson, and Dave Langlois (pictured left to right) embarked on a venture to create The Fieldstone Group of Companies, a collection of land development, home building, and real estate businesses which began constructing homes in 1981. After 10 years of making grants to nonprofit organizations, the corporate foundation became actively engaged in leadership development for nonprofit executives. The Fieldstone Leadership Network was created in 1994. During the past 25 years, we have built a continuum of programs and networking opportunities that enrich the skills and relationships of leaders to become exceptional and effective. We have seen how strategically investing in leaders transforms the person, the organization and ultimately, the community served. The Fieldstone Leadership Network has been nationally recognized and has served over 1,200 nonprofit leaders and 645 organizations throughout So Cal.
