Wilshire Restaurant offers a menu of "New Urban Cuisine" in a classy casual atmosphere. As a neighborhood restaurant, Wilshire designs its menu around local, organic and seasonal ingredients, in the interest of supporting sustainable farming while creating sophisticated dishes for guests. Though the restaurant opened in 2005, it reinvented itself in 2008 when Andrew Kirscher was promoted to executive chef and the relaxed atmosphere was redesigned. The menu has several seafood dishes, as well as short ribs, chicken, duck, pork loin, lamb leg and vegetarian dishes. Six different wood-grilled prime steaks are available, too. An extensive wine list is includes selections from California, Australia, France, Italy, Spain and South America. Wilshire is available for private parties up to 200 people, using private dining rooms and its two-tiered patio in the back.
