History
When I was 20, I suddenly needed to sleep 15 hours a day. Yet i woke up exhausted and napped for a couple of hours each day. Doctors said my tests were normal and that the stress of pre-med, medical school and residency was too much for me. They suggested I was depressed and should consider another profession. Mainstream medicine offered few options and little hope. To find useful answers, I obtained outside-the-box training in the US and Europe . What I learned helped to focus my career in medicine. The human body is an integral unit, a bio-computer that is much more than the sum of its parts. Much like a hologram. A holistic, integrative approach promotes optimum levels of health. Thus I practice functional integrative medicine to help the many people who have traveled a similar journey as I have to reach and maintain optimum health. There is much more than a light at the end of the tunnel. It is possible for each of us to live a life of health, a life filled with purpose.
