Irwindale City Police Department

The Irwindale Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that responds to several emergency response calls and conducts 24-hour street patrols to ensure public safety and security. It has canine patrol, communications and police explorer divisions. The department s detective division conducts investigations related to juvenile and sex crime, robbery and homicide cases. It has a bike unit that provides patrol services in confined areas, such as parks, residential facilities and speedways. The Irwindale Police Department offers the DARE program, which promotes the development of self-esteem and responsibility in kindergarten through grade five students. The department organizes community events and is located in Irwindale, Calif.
