The Orange County Business Council, also known as OCBC, works to enhance economic development and prosperity. The council represents and promotes the business community, as well as manages an infrastructure committee that advocates for the growing needs of residents and businesses. It represents businesses with more than 250,000 employees in Orange County in California. The Orange County Business Council also manages a community college working group. The council provides educational and work force development programs that prepare and motivate students for high-wage careers. In addition, it manages workforce housing and development committees. The Orange County Business Council operates an advocacy and government affairs committee that discusses and takes action on public policy issues.
