Hello - My name is Matthew Geist. My wife, Kate and I have recently moved to Sacramento from New York City where I studied framing and art conservation with extensive on the job training that has inspired me to start my own framing studio here in Sacramento. I have a background in painting and most of all printmaking which sparked my initial appreciation for works on paper and art conservation that has followed me my entire life. I specialize in custom picture framing with a concentration on creative designs, friendly/prompt service with a dedication to proper conservation techniques. I can essentially frame anything! That being your own artwork, posters, keepsakes, works on paper or a canvas that needs to be stretched and framed, I can make it happen! As an artist myself, I have a very keen eye to detail that I will impress upon your artwork as I do my own.
