History
Alameda county has one of the highest risks of low birth weight and infant mortality in California. We offer a community center that provides acupuncture and nutritional classes to pregnant and postpartum individuals to help build a stronger and healthier future for communities and families in need. We believe that every person should have access to holistic prenatal care and that acupuncture and nutritional counseling should not be a luxury. Our goal is to ensure accessibility to complimentary medicine for people who lack the economic means. By providing ongoing and consistent emotional support for underserved pregnant individuals, we help build a community for people and their families and increase the awareness about complimentary and integrative medicine.
