History
For a quick review of my background, you can go to my website, www.DrReneesPiano.com. Over the years I've had hundreds of students, some have taken their music into the entertainment world, others have simply continued to enjoy making music for family and friends long after they stopped formal lessons with me. My main focus is making the learning experience pleasurable at all levels. Those who want serious formal training can be guided through Certificate of Merit and beyond. But I take as much interest in the adult returning to music years after piano lessons as a child and wanting to really play the piano this time around!
Specialties
You can text me at (650)796-3938 - I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment designed to teach not only piano, but a love of music. I am a classical pianist but my specialty is giving anyone who loves music and wants to play the piano the opportunity to learn at their own pace, within their available time and through lessons shaped to their abilities and preferences. My youngest students are usually 5 years old; the sky's the limit for older ones. I think my oldest beginner was 82 and he enjoyed every minute of his lessons. Classics or pops, all are available, from beginner to advanced. My studio is easily accessed from Los Altos, Atherton, Menlo Park [west of El Camino] and Sunnyvale. I look forward to working with you and your family!
