I am a board-certified neurologist, specializing in multiple sclerosis (MS) and demyelinating diseases. After graduating from medical school in Athens, Greece, I went to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore to receive training in neuroimmunology and MS research. After a productive two years, I moved to New York to complete my neurology residency and fellowship training in MS and demyelinating diseases at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where I was nominated Chief Resident. After that, I stayed on as an Assistant Professor of Neurology, taking care of patients with MS, overseeing the MS resident clinic and conducting cutting-edge MS research in my own lab.
