State of California San Onofre State Beach

The San Onofre State Beach is located right next to the San Clemente State Park and is a wonderful place to spend the day. The ocean here is a dark blue and surfers can be seen riding the waves regularly. The beach is a bit rocky, but the view is impressive. There are public bathrooms next to the parking lot.

There is a nice sandy area on Cress Street. Cress Street also has an exposed reef near the shore which makes for great snorkeling.
