Started in 1998, the Discovery Science Center is a nonprofit organization that educates and helps children, teachers and families in improving their understanding of science, mathematics and technology applications through exhibits and programs. The center features a more than 59,000 square foot of exhibit space and serves over 450,000 people annually. It offers Science to Go and assembly programs, as well as organizes field trips for school groups. The center includes a Dino Quest, which is a section that exhibits an electronic quest, online videogame and dinosaurs. The Discovery Science Center also houses a digital laboratory that provides computer education to students and adults. The center provides venues for private corporate parties, company family days and school programs for groups of up to 1,000 people.
