Located in Orinda, Calif., Del Rey School serves students from grades kindergarten through fifth. Founded in 1953, it is one of five schools under the Orinda Union School District, and enrolls more than 400 students. The school campus includes more than 20 full-size classrooms, and has a multipurpose room, library, music room, and computer lab equipped with more than 25 Macintosh computers. Based on the guidelines of the California State Board of Education, the school s curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, arts, computers and music.
