Dayak' Den Soccer was started when the owner, Troy Dayak, had a possible career ending injury. While playing a game for the San Jose Earthquakes he herniated 2 disks in his neck. Doctors said he would never play soccer again. When that thought sunk in he thought how else can I give back to the community and still be involved with the sport that I love! So he opened a soccer store. Thankfully he was able to return back to play, proving the doctors wrong and going on to win 2 MLS championship titles. This would be the perfect combination. Store owner who still plays! He has worn all types of products so with his guidance and expertice the soccer store has thrived! The meaning behind the name of the store and our logo was his fan club was called Dayak's Den (Dayak being his last name). His nickname on the field was the Beast. So combined we came up with Dayak's Den Soccer with a logo of the eyes of a beast peering out of his den.
