Joe D'Amore got started in the pizza business in 1987 using his grandmother's recipes. This is one of seven locations of D'Amore's Pizza. The restaurant features Boston-style pies with thick or thin crusts and a choice of 20 toppings, including grilled eggplant or zucchini, fresh garlic, meatball and anchovies. D'Amore's takes pride in creating healthier pizzas without trans fats, MSG, margarine, lard or added sugars. Entrees are also served, such as eggplant, chicken or veal parmigiana, chicken piccata and chicken marsala. Some pasta selections are available, as well. A large bench table at the back of the restaurant is perfect for a group meal. Photos of D'Amore's family and friends lend a homey atmosphere to the restaurant.
