Dainty Donuts has helped the San Ramon community wake up to freshly baked and brewed goods since 1994. Owner Binh Huynh says it's on-site bakers usually begin concocting their pastries at around midnight because many pastries take several steps to make. They finish baking by dawn, and that's right about the time loyal patrons begin lining up for delicacies that include buttery croissants, apple fritters, muffins, bear claws and cinnamon rolls and twists. It also bakes every kind of donut you can think of including old fashioned, frosted cake, raised, french and jelly filled. Along with juice, coffee, hot chocolate and tea, it offers a variety of specialty coffee drinks including espresso, latte, cappuccino and mocha. Customers can take a load off in a small dining area or take their order to go. It is also happy to bake-to-order if customers have an event to cater or a large order.
