The California Maritime Academy is an educational institution that operates a range of academic and enrichment programs. The academy has been in operation since 1929 and maintains a physical education and marine survival training center. It is one of the only degree-granting maritime academies in the United States. The academy also features an engineering laboratory and simulation and technology centers.
