HistoryMnM Handyman was established in 2005 when Matthew decided to venture out on his own. Matthew was raised on a farm in rural Minnesota where he learn to become resourceful and use ingenuity on a regular bases. Upon completing high school Matthew took 2 years in carpentry in which he received Associate's Degree. During that time Matthew also studied under and Electrician for over 6 months where he gained basic knowledge of electricity. Upon getting back into the workforce Matthew was still undecided as to which direction to go with his life so he decided to take up web design where he learned a great deal on how to research and figure out things on his own. Still was not feeling a good fit, Matthew went back to carpentry, Custom Cabinetry to be exact. But when recession hit there wasn't much to be done with cabinets so Matthew wondered from Contractor to Contractor until he finally got the courage to start MnM Handyman!
